CHNW is Named Best Nonprofit 3 Years in a Row

We are very honored and humbled to be placed in the top 100 Best Non-Profits to work for in Oregon for the third year in a row.

What makes CHNW such a great place to work, is that all levels of our organization, our staff and leadership embody our core values which are collaboration, autonomy and positive impact. Every day you might find yourself in meetings that include Student Employees, full-time professional staff, as well as Board members. Each individual is committed to our mission and collaborates with one another to have a truly transparent organization where everyone’s voice at the table is heard.

Another thing that sets CHNW apart from other organizations is our commitment to professional development, not only for our student residents but for all the employees who work for us. We offer training and educational opportunities for each position, as well as have a Professional Development program that allows employees to request funds to participate in special training, workshops/conferences, and educational opportunities that will enhance their career trajectory and professional development.

At CHNW, employees feel like they can come to work and be their whole self, while having a positive impact on our organization and the students we serve, no matter what their role may be. This impact, along with the self-autonomy, opportunity for professional growth and flexible benefits is what keeps our employees happy and engaged year after year!
