A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned
According to a survey of 1000 adults released by Bankrate.com, one in four Americans have enough money in their saving accounts to cover at least six months of expenses, enough to cover a medical emergency or some other unexpected event, 50% of those surveyed have less three months covered and 27% had no savings at all. Saving rates have been idle or declined in the past three years even though there are signs of increase in job security, and overall better finical situations.
