Corvallis CareNow Convenience Clinic Open

Corvallis CareNow Convenience Clinic Open

A new convenience care clinic called CareNow just recently opened near the Gem on Monroe Ave. between Qdoba and Dutch Bros. As a service of The Corvallis Clinic, CareNow is open from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week, and offers same-day online appointment scheduling. Open to everyone, the CareNow clinic also provides OSU students with an alternative to OSU’s Student Health Services (SHS), particularly when SHS is closed.

Staffed by nurse practitioners, CareNow provides treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, wellness checkups, preventive care, and sports physicals. In addition, CareNow also provides immunizations and some laboratory tests, such as strep throat, glucose levels and urinalysis. CareNow can also fill some patient’s prescriptions on site.

Although CareNow is not designed to treat patients with long-term chronic conditions, it can be the first stop where such diseases are first spotted. Also, in the case of serious health conditions such as chest pain, shortness of breath, or broken bones, a patient will be referred to an urgent care clinic or a hospital emergency room.

Appointments can be scheduled on the CareNow website (http://www.carenoworegon.com), by phone (541-754-1369), or in person and can be scheduled the same day. This helps eliminate the possibility of long waits and provides quick access to care.

For more information and pricing about CareNow, please visit their website at http://www.carenoworegon.com. Cash, major credit cards, and most major insurance is accepted. Please visit their website for insurances that are accepted.
