College Housing Northwest began a pilot program in 2020 to provide housing for college students in the Portland area experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. The Affordable Rents for College Students program, or “ARCS”, provides monthly rental assistance and supportive services to students in need while also reducing typical housing barriers such as security deposits for program participants. We are excited to announce that the ARCS program was recently written about in the following Street Roots Article:
