Throughout the Spotlight Series, we highlight residents and staff to learn about their experiences at College Housing Northwest (CHNW). In this post, we will feature Nate, who humbly started as a Resident Ambassador and now works as the Operations Specialist for CHNW.
How did you first get involved with CHNW?
My first trip to CHNW wasn’t for employment, but actually for an apartment. After I was accepted to Portland State University, My dad and I began looking for apartments in Portland. We quickly found CHNW online and decided to schedule a tour.
While touring Goose Hollow with the leasing staff, I mentioned that I was also seeking employment and after many interviews got hired as a Resident Ambassador.
After 3 and half years and graduating PSU with my computer science degree, I now work in the Operations department of CHNW as the Operations Specialist.
What have you learned from starting as an RA to now working as the Operations specialist?
