College Housing Northwest would like to welcome Pam Blumenthal as our new Director of the Affordable Rents for College Students (ARCS) program as of January 5th. ARCS is a pilot program in conjunction with Portland Community College, Portland State University, New Avenues for Youth, NAYA, and College Housing Northwest that provides housing with rental assistance to students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. College Housing Northwest strives to create dynamic living and learning environments that help students achieve their goals – whether that means academic success or personal growth.
Pam brings with her over 16 years of experience at Portland Community College where she built innovative programs that supported out-of-school youth, first-generation/low-income students, foster youth, and other historically marginalized students. She has collaborated with community stakeholders, donors, and city and state leaders to create programs that have had significant impact on thousands of students.
We are looking forward to Pam being a part of our team in the new year!
