Living With Us
A Supportive Community
Communities designed for student success
Each of our properties has a unique environment tailored specifically to the college lifestyle and our team of community assistants is always prepared to help guide students through any questions or concerns. With 54 years of industry experience, we understand the needs of students and have the expertise to meet those needs.
Student Support
Whether you’re like many students and this is your first rental experience, or you’ve rented before, as a resident of CHNW you’ll benefit from individualized attention and thoughtful service from the day we meet you until the day you complete your degree. We know that students are busy juggling multiple roles and priorities; that’s why we have a number of services to help you stay focused on studying.

Community Assistants (CAs)
In this role, student employees are a vital resource and support the student services function of the organization by providing opportunities for resident engagement and ensuring the well-being of the community.

Afterhours Support
Just because business hours are over, doesn't mean that student needs cease. CAs provide lockout services and respond to situations impacting the community.

Events
Our community assistants organize monthly events in order for our residents to engage with fellow students. Resident events help foster a sense of community, creating friendships among neighbors.

Health & Wellness Resources
CHNW promotes and supports the health and wellness of their residents by providing hygiene products and contraception along with community resource information on such subjects as mental health and addiction services.

Resident Council
Comprised of students representing the diversity of the communities they represent, Resident Councils meet monthly to discuss student needs and work with staff to continuously improve their communities.

Food Pantry
CHNW provides food pantries at several of their apartment communities. This helpful resource is stocked weekly for our students and we encourage our residents to donate items as well.

24/7 Maintenance
Our maintenance team is available 24 hours a day via our emergency phone number during non-business hours.

Accomodations & Appeals
Created as a resource for residents whose needs are not being met within the constraints of our current policies, any resident can submit an appeal or accommodation request to have CHNW better address their academic, health, or financial well-being.

CHNW requires all applicants fit our student status requirement of being enrolled halftime at a traditional college or university, an online school, or at a trade school. In addition, CHNW completes a screening that includes criminal background, credit history and rental history. Since CHNW serves students who often may not have established credit or rental history, lacking either does not impact the outcome of the screening.
