Our University District buildings are both one of a kind. Period architecture combined with beautiful tree-lined blocks create a charming, historic feel. We offer a more independent rental experience here than our other properties, perfect for any student looking for unique floor plans in a supportive community environment.
The University District is a collection of two beautifully-restored, historic buildings. These apartment communities are ideal for students who crave a smaller community that is just steps away from Portland State University. In many of our floor plans you’ll find unique touches, such as the original phones and chandeliers dating back to the 1920s. Hardwood floors, built-in cabinetry, and claw-foot bathtubs are also special features in your new home. High ceilings provide a sense of spaciousness while balconies offer Portland street views.
The Tiffany and the Clay buildings are centrally located and are close to the MAX light rail system, the local trolley, and several bus lines. Studying will be made easier as the University District is just moments away from PSU’s main library and the Multnomah County Central Public Library. Picking up those last minute essentials is simple as a Safeway grocery store and a Target are just blocks away. Taste your way through the neighborhood with the diverse selection of cafes and food carts, enjoy people watching at the Saturday Market, and browse the local offerings at the farmers market. Running late to class? Grab a quick cup of coffee at the J Coffee Shop---Portland’s first robot coffee maker!
