Our Commitment to Sustainability

At CHNW, we strive to minimize our impact on the environment by implementing sustainable solutions into our building design and engaging residents on sustainable practices.

The Amy's
Green Roof

This green roof provides the building with passive stormwater management and energy savings while encouraging natural growth.

Low-flow shower heads are utilized within The Amy and Goose Hollow units to conserve water.

Community Garden
& Food Pantry

The community garden provides residents the opportunity to grow their own healthy food. The food pantry helps lower food waste by encouraging unwanted non-perishable food items to be donated.

Laundry Strips

Free eco-friendly laundry strips are provided to all new residents to encourage choosing greener, more sustainable products.

All CHNW Portland buildings use 100% clean wind energy for common areas electricity usage and all units use LED lighting.
