Our University District buildings are both one of a kind. Period architecture combined with beautiful tree-lined blocks create a charming, historic feel. We offer a more independent rental experience here than our other properties, perfect for any student looking for unique floor plans in a supportive community environment. Located one block north of PSU campus, the University District buildings are ideal for any student looking to live close to school.
The University District is made up of two gorgeous historic buildings built in the early 1900’s. The Clay and Tiffany buildings offer two different and unique apartment styles and characteristics. Joint building amenities include a shared laundry facilities, common courtyard and basement lounge study area. Individual units and floor plans may differ slightly and may include hardwood floors, balconies, clawfoot bathtubs and vintage features like chandeliers or antique phones.

*The Clay and Tiffany buildings are scheduled to be demolished in the latter part of 2020. This is part of CHNW’s long term expansion project aimed at providing even more affordable housing options for Portland students. CHNW staff will work to keep current residents up to date when and if the timeline changes.*
